Succulents
I've recently discovered just how beautiful succulents are~ They have a modern and simple geometric beauty, like neatly folded origami. I also just love the soft and earthy hues of succulents. I am thinking of all kinds of ways to incorporate succulents (aka "fat plants" according to wikipedia, how adorable) into our soon-to-be home. Beautiful color, low maintenance, a clean cut modern look...perfect!
Will once received a nice pot of succulents as a gift but they fell victim too much love (watering). I have been reading up on how to take care of succulents (or how to abstain from too much care rather) so perhaps our next batch of juicy fat plants will fare better.

Awesome! I've gotten obsessed with succulents myself, recently. I went to the Huntington Library and Gardens last month, and there was a huge succulent/cactus sale going on courtesy of the Cactus and Succulent Society of America (yes, there is such a thing). I bought several plants, and I've learned that they're pretty easy to grow. Water about once every two weeks with plenty of sunshine, and they'll be pretty happy.
